New roller shutter – Adelaide eastern suburbs

A lot of people don’t realise we install new roller shutters – we do!  In fact, we make them ourselves – each roller shutter is custom made according to the unique site requirements of every home/business.  Here’s a brand new shutter we installed earlier this week in the eastern suburbs:

The reason we make each shutter ourselves?  Years in the repair business has given us hands-on experience; we know quality components and attention to detail makes a good shutter – and proper installation makes a great shutter.

If you need to repair a roller shutter – or replace a roller shutter – call us on 8447 3443.

Woodland Grey now a standard roller shutter colour!

Some exiting news in the Adelaide new roller shutter industry: we can now supply & install Woodland Grey domestic roller shutters as a standard colour!  This includes the top box, side guides and bottom bar; the whole shutter can be done in Woodland Grey at no extra cost (previously powder-coating charges would apply).

It’s always fantastic to see the roller shutter standard ranges extended – the demand is certainly there as Woodland Grey seems to be the go-to colour of the moment – it’s great to be able to match your shutter colour with surrounding features for a seamless look.

Woodland Grey is a great way to achieve a dramatic colour block result which still accentuates and complements surrounding features.  Not convinced?  Check out a couple more we have recently installed:

What do you think?  Are you in the market for new roller shutters – and would you consider the boldness of a darker shutter shade?  Give us a call on 84473443 for advice on roller shutter colour schemes, as well as any other roller shutter related queries you may have – we’re happy to help!

Happy New Year 2017

Happy 2017 everyone!  We wish all our customers, suppliers and employees the best for the new year.

2017new-year

We are open from today to repair your roller shutters in Adelaide – though we have been inundated with calls from the Adelaide Hills and Murray Bridge this morning – so, yes, we can help even if you’re not in Adelaide!  If you are not sure whether we cover your area, please call us on 84473443.

Christmas hours and good news for us

In our last post we were lamenting the ill-health of our Numero Uno work ute Felicity (she was not living up to her lucky name last week) – but we are now happy to report that she is back on the road thanks to the great folks at Woodville Auto Wreckers (based at Gillman, actually, not Woodville)!  While it’s never great to have a car break down, we are very lucky to have found such a great local auto shop who did their best to get us back on the road asap.  So the lucky people of Adelaide can now see Felicity out and about ferrying our techs to fix roller shutters!

Thanks to Freepik for the Christmas image 🙂

This Christmas we will be working up until Saturday 24th December; we will be closed from 25th Dec to 1st January, and back to work from Monday 2nd January.  We may be able to assist with emergency call-outs over this time; if we are able to attend a holiday surcharge will apply.

We do still have a couple of appointment slots available in the week before Christmas so if you do have a roller shutter that needs attention before Christmas please call us asap on 84473443 to secure a time.

Adelaide Christmas 2016

It seems that despite our best efforts at being good – the best, even – it seems we have been naughty at least once this year!  Santa has delivered us an early lump of coal: our workhorse Numero Uno is out of commission, suffering a broken differential which broke as we were leaving a customer’s home yesterday.  Here she is, being given a ride back to the depot.

Getting a lift home.

Getting a lift home.

Already busy with roller shutter repairs in the leadup to Christmas; unfortunately we have had to delay some customer’s appointments to accomodate a couple of days in the repair shop.  Thank you to all customers who have been understanding while we reshuffle appointments – we will do our best to get Numero Uno back on the road asap!

More positive feedback

I just took a lovely call from Mr. H in Netley, who called as soon as our technician left his home to commend our services.  Mr. H was happy for us to record feedback for the website:

“I know people rarely pick up the phone to give compliments but only complaints, so I wanted to call to recommend how wonderful the technician was.  I know my wife called to make the appointment and commented after the phone call how great the service was over the phone – the technician then lived up to that when he was here.  Please pass this feedback on to see that the staff involved are commended appropriately”. – 3 August 2016.

While Mr. H was happy to put his name to the feedback, we always protect our customer’s identities by only including part of their name.

If you have had a great experience with us, thank you for taking the time to call us and pass on the feedback – we also appreciate reviews via google, yelp, facebook and other web platforms as well.  You can even email us direct from our website, so we can publish your verbatim comments ourselves online.

Customer feedback

I have just spoken to a customer who has taken the time to call in and thank  our technician Jack for the recent work he did:  “Please pass onto Jack our thanks; we were very happy with the job he did.  We are just calling to make sure this gets passed on”. – Mr W, Brighton, July 2016.

It only takes 60 seconds to pick up the phone and pass on feedback – but it really does make our day 🙂

Adelaide – batten down the hatches (and your roller shutters)

I hate repeating blog entries – but this has been a regular theme in Adelaide these last couple of months.

There’s a severe weather warning for damaging winds in the Adelaide metro area tonight, with possible thunderstorm and hail tomorrow.  Remember to either keep your roller shutters completely up or completely down and closed to help prevent damage to your shutters.  Since my last blog post we had multiple jobs fixing roller shutter curtains that had been blown away – our last replacement curtain for weather affected customers was only last week!

Stay safe everyone; if you run into any problems with your shutters give us a call on 84473443.
