2019 Easter Holiday Hours!

It’s our first post of 2019…..and it’s the Easter Long weekend no less!

Our website has been a little neglected over the last few months. We have been extremely busy so far in 2019, catching up from the Christmas rush period as well as the backlog of jobs created by the 2 large storms that hit Adelaide at the end of 2018, then the heatwave of early 2019!  It also has not been the most convenient of times for our office staff to become statistics of the latest flu outbreak…

On a happier note, we really appreciate our customers contacting us to let us know how we’re going:

TRSRC – Helping babies sleep!

We recently got some feedback which has turned out to be one of my favourite testimonials of all time: a Mum thanking us for helping her baby off to the land of nod!

We recently installed a roller shutter to the nursery window for new Mum Janelle, and she has been very happy with the near-total darkness the shutter provides, even at 1pm in the afternoon.

She texted us her delight, as well as a snapchat image she’d sent to a friend:

I was putting the baby down for her nap and trying to reply to a friend with a funny faced snap chat when i realised its too dark to do so 👌

I just took a lovely call from Mr. H in Netley, who called as soon as our technician left his home to commend our services.  Mr. H was happy for us to record feedback for the website:

“I know people rarely pick up the phone to give compliments but only complaints, so I wanted to call to recommend how wonderful the technician was.  I know my wife called to make the appointment and commented after the phone call how great the service was over the phone – the technician then lived up to that when he was here.  Please pass this feedback on to see that the staff involved are commended appropriately”. – 3 August 2016.

Fantastic!

This is the feedback we received from Jane, a – fantastically – happy customer in Enfield.  Jane contacted us asking for a price on new motors for her 8 roller shutters.  She was quite clear that she wanted new motors, and wanted to change from her existing 12V system to a 240V (mains) system.  I went through a few of our fact-finding questions with Jane before giving her a price, and discovered that she’d been told that she needed to convert to 240V power as her existing system was ‘illegal’.  This didn’t quite ring true, so we offered to pop past and eyeball the shutters and provide a free quote based on our own observations.

Of course, there was nothing ‘illegal’ about her roller shutter set up, and we ended up simply changing over batteries and a fuse, and all 8 shutters were fully operational once again.  We saved Jane from laying out for 8 new roller shutter motors unnecessarily, which she was prepared to do before deciding to call us for a price comparison.  We think this is why Jane now can’t use our name in a sentence without also using the word fantastic!
